Really Happy!

Things are going pretty great in both lives, I'm partered to the guy I'm with in real life. I have never been partnered in secondlife before. I'm really lucky to have this amazing guy in my life, He is so loving and protective of me, I feel so safe in his arms, we have so much fun in both worlds. I have known him most of my life since we were both 17, He knows me better than anyone. I'm so glad we found our way back to each other, no matter what any one says or does, nothing can ruin our happiness, when I'm with him, nothing else matters. I really am lucky to have such wonderful people in both lifes! :)

Every self respecting Pirate needs there own ship! I was looking around on the marketplace and found this one! It was a bargain at only 50l, I love how detailed it is and it has some cute poses. The creator put alot of effort into it. It's perfect. I needed a name for my ship and got inspiration from watching The Pirates of the Carabean movie last night, So I named her The Black Jewel, here she is in all her finest glory!

So I was doing another hunt! I think I'm addicted to hunts, but they are so much fun, the best part is opening all the gifts you get at the end. I got some really neat stuff from the skull and bones Pirate Hunt. I live on a beach on sl now. So I changed my home into a pirates hideaway!

Lately I have been down in dumps, so been watching lots of disney movies to lift my mood. nothing like a bit of disney therapy to cheer you up. I was watching pocahontas the first and second one. I like the second one better, and meeko the racoon is so cute! So now I'm a indian in world, I've been exploring a few different native American sites, and taking lots of pics. I won a free pic from one the hunts I finished and this is the one I had done. I think it looks awesome :)

I told myself no more breedable animals, and I meant it, but then I saw everyone talking about meeroos, and I thought they would be no big deal, I was wrong they are so unbelievably cute! I went to a lil sim called Easter World, and had alot of fun there I got a free space hopper and did a easter egg hunt I got some very cute prizes to! beautiful spring dresses I'm wearing the yellow one right now. also hung out with bugs bunny for a while and he showed me how to do the bunny hop. :)

It's amazing how someone you have never met in person, can touch your life so much, A few weeks ago this beautiful angel named Hepzibah passed away in RL, she touched many lives and was loved by alot of people including me. she was funny, sweet and a great friend never had a bad word to say about anyone. always friendly and happy, I am lucky to have known her. when I see her name on my friend list it just makes me sad just knowing she will never log in again, and I will never get to talk to her again.... but I will never delete her, I miss you Hepzi, R.I.P my sweet sissy you will always be loved and never forgotten.

So yesterday I decided I wanted to be a secret agent, I love the new Tegan2 hair from truth and I had a black suit I bought ages ago from a cute lil store called JANE, and together they make the perfect private eye look, my lovely friend Brett, agreed to play the bad guy for me, and we went to a sim and took some pics, it was fun!, I got some freebie gun poses on xstreet, and a gun. You can get lots of cool stuff for free on there :)

Last night, I was doing the no place like home hunt, and it was long, but I got some pretty neat stuff. I got a really nice skybox, and it was really low prim. so I was hunting at this place called the Epic Toy factory, this place is amazing, and so fun to visit. I spent ages in wonderland last night, trying out all the animations and exploring, I felt like a kid again having so much fun I almost forgot I was hunting, The prize I got from there was pretty cool to, It's great place to hang out and take pictures, will deffinatly be going again soon :)

Everyone is going crazy over breedable pets right now, I've had them all chickens bunnys horses, well not cats, but I signed into to sl today and my friend sent me you guessed it breedable fairies, what will they think of next?, she said they reminded her of me so she had to get them lol. They are really cute though, there wings are really pretty and detailed with flowers over them, they hatch from a egg then you can name them, and set there range so they fly around you. also they don't need a male to have babies, they are magic so they just sorta appear. mine are flying round my house right now. This is the first one I hatched, I named her after my friend.

Retail Therapy

Was feeling kind of low today, because of things going on in my rl, so I decided I needed a little retail therapy in both lives. I bought these new jeans and this top and new hair, the hair is from truth, and the top which I love! is from one of my favourite stores Trendstyle,I like the way it has the heart shape at the front, I got it in a few colours, nothing makes you feel better than shopping :)

New year is all about keeping fit and healthy right, so I bought the get fit exercise mat for Project Themeory from what next, Its only 75 linden and has some fun exercise poses, I've got my cute pink tracksuit on, right lets work it!

First Time for some leg ups, lay down on the mat get comfy then lift those legs high come on you can do it!

Now some press ups about 20 should do it, whew this is hard work!

And some sit ups, I don't know about you, but after all that working out I'm exhausted! think I'm gonna go have a nice warm bubble bath now :)

I've been decorating

I love shopping for furniture, and one of my favourite stores is what next, I have lots of stuff from there, I like there cute style and they always have fun poses to. Though this time most of my furniture I bought at a little store called lisp bazar. There furniture is really nice, and well priced to, I will definatly be shopping there again. :)

This is my livingroom, I think it looks cozy, I got the pictures on the wall from a gatcha machine at the wisp bazzar, only 25linden.

This is my hangout room, I have my kitchen table in here along with my sofa from what next and a few other bits and pieces.

New home for a new year

I decided like a lot of other people, I needed a new sl home for the new year, It didn't take me long to find one, I saw one I had been thinking of buying for a while, and I when I checked it out in world, I just had to buy it!, its from a store called funky junk, and so cute and detailed and just the perfect size, it has a cute fireplace built in with a working fire, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, now I'm going shopping for new furniture!

I changed my blog template wanted a new one for the new year, But I'm really not sure I will be blogging anymore, I still love second life, but just don't have as much fun there as I used to, most of my friends have moved on and either left sl or got partnered, feel sad as I write this, I used to have so much fun there, but I guess nothing lasts forever, I'm not ready to give it up completly though yet. will probaly just spend less time there. These days when I log in I usually just hang out in my skyhome or shop. maybe I just need to meet new people and sl can be fun again.

My Resolutions for 2011

1. Try and meet new people and be more open to new friendships

2. Stop hanging out in my skyhome, and explore all sl has to offer more

3. stop spending so much money on sl, and use what I have in my inventory, (this will be a tough one!)

4. Try and sort my inventory out and throw away old landmarks and clothes I never wear.

5. talk to and spend more time with the people alreadly on my friends list

6. spend more time on plurk and get my karma up to 100 lol

7. Just make 2011 a good year and be happy!

New Home New start

I moved house in rl I have a whole new apartment and its really nice, the area I moved to is lovely to, nice and quiet with nice neighbours. I love it here. I had no internet for a while but now I have everything connected, I thought since I moved rl I would move in sl to. I gave up my old place and now I live in a pretty wooden cabin, with a cozy fire, and snow falling. its perfect for winter, sl is so easy to get addicted to, but since I moved I've been spending alot less time on line and more time with rl friends and family. second life is a wonderful place, but real life should always come first! I have the balance right now between the two, and I'm very happy things are going right for me for a change :)

I had alot of fun playing detective and looking for clues at skull creek, I even got a really cute female sherlock holmes outfit to so I could look the part. I love Halloween, where I live everyone makes a huge fuss about it and we all dress up and have a huge street party! Last night I decided to check out one of the sl haunted sims, I went to spookyville, very cool sim lots to look at, I took some pics

I listened to the skeleton band play, they were pretty good!

then I had a look around one of the houses, oops think I interrupted something here!

I heard someone yelling for help, so I went to look and it was another skeleton he asked me to help him and promised to give me lots of gold if i did, well I helped him and got no gold he pulled me into his grave! never trust a skeleton! pretty cool sim check it out :)

So I went to the truth sale and bought lots of new hair, I love all my new hair! but these are my faves :)

I love this style because its cute and girly, its called Berry and comes with a flower that you can change the colour of it to match any outfit

I really love my second life, I just have so much fun there and have great friends, yesterday I had a great day I hung out with my friends Azura and Gabby in my dads new forest. It's sooo pretty we were dressed as faerys and were dancing and flying around. then last night I hung out with my jk, and we got free dragon avatars, and where chasing each other and flying all over the place. It was to funny! then I went to the shoe fair for a bit, and bought some lovely shoes! I love shoes I spent alot, but it was for a good cause so i dont mind, these are my favourite shoes i got :)

So for about a week I have had no laptop, it had a stupid virus in it, I had it fixed, and the virus removed, and now my computer is now faster and better than ever, i was going nuts without my laptop, though I did get time to sort my house out, and spent some time with my family and actually had a good time with them, we didnt kill each other. lol and I'm sooo happy to have it back though, i did have my iphone so i could talk to my lovely plurk friends they keep me sane! I love the Planterium! I have been there three times now with different friends, but I like going on my own to, when I feel sad, or stressed out, its really relaxing and the music and the colours calms me down. I like sitting in the bubbles and meditating, and doing all the different animations. it really is a pretty cool place :)

Some times people can do something that really surprises you, it may not mean alot to other people, but to you the smallest things can mean alot, I helped orginise a rezz day party for my friend Gabby. We had it in Bedrock, the owner of the sim was lovely, and let us use it for no cost, and even let us have rezz rights to add decorations. He came and partied with us dressed as dino to, We all had a really great night, It was alot of fun, I got a pebbles avatar and jk was bam bam, today i was just hanging out at my beach home with jk relaxing and cuddling on my hammock, when gabby sends me this

It says "thank you, I can't remember when I laughed so much, you are so much fun, repeat performance is a must"

I was just so touched, I never expected it and it just made me smile, I met Gabby through my friend Brett who I also call my sl dad, not in a ageplay way, hes just really understanding, and caring and always there for me. I'm so glad he introduced me to Gabby she is such a lovely person, so sweet and caring, and she is alot of fun and has a mischevious side to, I am really lucky to have her as a friend :)

Some times you just need to chill on a house made of cushions with people who get you, who understand you, who won't judge you, and just loves you for who you are! these three know all my faults and they still love me, I don't have to try and be something I'm not with them, I can just be my hyper fun loving self, I'm pretty lucky to have such great friends! they are never boring when we hang out we laugh and joke all the time, and just have so much fun! they are random, mad, and silly and crazy at times. but so am I! and thats what I love about them! but there also sweet, caring, and loving and we are always there for me. and I'm always there for them, We are like family, we talk for hours on skype about anything and everything, I wouldnt swap these guys for anything in the world :)

Last night was awesome, I hung out with my favourite guy on sl JK, we went to a friends sim and danced for a while, then raced on the jet skiis, he won he was faster than me then he took me for a ride on his jet ski i held on tight while we sped through the water and then we just relaxed in the hot tub together cuddling and talking and then jk told me he had something for me and it was a beautiful red rose I had a great night with him last night I am so lucky to have him in my sl world he is awesome guy so sweet and kind and fun.

I love plurk! and all my plurky friends they are great fun, I like reading there plurks, but never really got to hang out with them in world, but I did today, Anya posted a link to a 4th of July sim, and I went and danced and met some new friends it was great fun I took some pics.

We joined in with the band they even gave us free outfits and instruments, Nica has a Cake hat you just touch it and it gives you cake, you gotta love that! Hope all my american friends had a great 4th of July!

Today has not been a good day for me, well that is a understatement, its the first fathers day without my dad, so I have been a mess all day. really miss him, and seeing everyone around me talk about there dads doesn't help. my friends have been great though, they know when i just need to be alone, and I know if I need them they are just a instant message away. I can talk to my friends about anything, and there's always someone willing to give me a hug if I need one. which is really great. sl has been my lifeline for long time, and I don't know what I would do without it, its my escape from reality, when sometime reality becomes to much. its good to know you can just disappear into another world and forget your problems for a while. just hang out with friends, and have fun. my friend Jill is mad about Bunny's, she has about 30 of them she gave me a nest tonight. and now I have a new baby bunny. I named her Rosie she is really cute so even though it has been a horrible day for me, and i will be glad its over. I love my new bunny, and I love my friends, and I know as long as I have them to support me, I will get through anything.

I totally love to shop, online on sl, or xstreet, or real life, I just love shopping! weekends are my favourite times, I always look forward to 60l weekends. I love seeing all the different creations people come up with, there is so many talented people out there. I love clothes, and accessories, this weekend the 60 linden bargains were great I got a few things I really love the one I love the most though is this gypsy dress from Kr Couture one of my favourite stores, it is so pretty, and girly, the colours are beautiful, and its really well made. it comes with a necklace and earrings, and has a few different choices for the skirt.

My second favourite is this gorgeous dress from Kiwi. I found the necklace I'm wearing from Stars gems, and thought it looked really well with the dress.

and last but not least this sexy white number from Eluzion, another fantastic store. I have alot of clothes from there. this dress is lovely, and has both the long and short version, I prefer the short. hope you like my outfits, I can't wait for next weeks 60 linden weekend. :)

If this is your first BBBC... What did you get out of your experience? Do you think it will change the way you blog in the future?

Yes this was my first Big blogger challenge, and I really enjoyed it, I love reading all the second life blogs, and meeting new and interesting people. will it influence my blog in the future? I'm not really sure, I mainly just blog about things that make me smile, or that interest me.I like blogging and I really had fun with the BBBC and would do it again :)

My beautiful unicorn

This is was a tough one, deciding what to write, as I have a few things I would like to write about. so it was tough to decide on one, but I think I will write about one of my pets on second life. this is no ordinary pet, not a cat or a dog, nope this is a unicorn, I have always loved unicorns, they are beautiful magical creatures. so when my bro found me one, I fell in love with it, its so pretty, it acts like a normal horse, and sounds like one. he can canter, and gallop, and even rear up. but what i love most about him is that he can fly, and two people can ride him. I love taking my friends rides on him, I named him Stardust because of his pretty sparkles, hes deffinalty one of the coolest pets I ever had on sl.

Last night we went to africa, saw some cheeky monkeys that threw stuff, made friends with a Mammoth and went on a nice balloon ride so we could see all of the animals then we danced for a while. we love checking out sims and exploring new ones :)

SL Bloggers - Is your avatar more or less your current biological age? Do you portray a younger avatar, or older? Why is this?

Well I am 28 real life, and In second life I am the same age, all my friends on second life know what age I am, I would never hide my rl age from anyone. and on second life age really doesn't matter that much anyway. I have friends on there of all different ages, I do like it when I meet someone near my own age though, as I can relate more to them. but my older friends are interesting and fun to. and I can learn from there experiences. In sl I don't act any older or younger than I am I'm just me.

How hard do you think it is to find a relationship in SL?

It can be very hard, or not hard at all, it really just depends on the people you meet, and whether you click with them or not. I'm lucky to have found a great guy on sl, though we are just friends at the minute, we are just enjoying each others company, I just love being around him, he makes me laugh, and he is really sweet. I dont usually go for sweet guys, usually end up with a bad boy. but I really love spending time with jk, and I can even more as hes my neighbour on sl now. :)

If you have an SL relationship, have you met in the physical world? Would you meet them? Do you think it would change your SL relationship if you met?

No we haven't met in the rl world, but we are both from the UK, usually I try and keep my sl and rl seperate so not sure if I would meet anyone from sl, but the friendships and relationships I make in sl, are very real, and mean alot to me. I don't think it would matter if we met or not, I love the person he is, and that matters more to me than looks.

The three most positive things are

1. My friends

My friends are all really great people, they are lots of fun and always there when I need them. Friendship is really important in real life, and second life, any life can be a very lonely place without friends. I am lucky to have mine, they are all different, what I love about second life is that you actually get to know the person without having to see or hear them you just get to find out what kind of personalty they have, and you become friends with people you probaly wouldnt in real life, every one of my friends make my sl a fun place to be whether we are just hanging out, or having a party it dosent matter what we do. we always have fun.

2. My Home

I love having a home on second life, just somewhere you can hang out with friends, or be alone with your thoughts. I live on the beach right now, and I like nothing better to lay by my pool and listen to the waves, and look at the sunset, I move alot, that's whats great about sl, you can live on a beach, a forest, or even in a tree house my sl bro Mike does, if you want to and move as much as you want.

3.My Pets

I am a animal lover in real life, and second life. I have four dogs that actually act like real dogs, and obey commands, they even play fetch, and come when I call them, they are great, I also have a dolphin called bubbles, which I can ride on. and have a parrot named ziggy, and two monkeys, my home is like a zoo sometimes ;)

Why did I become a blogger?

I like blogging, I think its a good way to express yourself, and share things with others. sometimes its easier to write how you feel than to actually say it, I started a real life blog a while ago, and I loved posting on it, I was surprised how many people liked my blog, and left comments, I never expected that, I just mainly wrote about things that I liked and that made me smile, sometimes serious things that really mattered to me. it just really depended on how I felt at the time. I met alot of nice people through blogging, from all over the world, people I could talk to, and who had the same interests as me. I've been on second life a year and 6 months now, and just thought it would be fun to start a blog about my secondlife and all the friends I have made there, and the fun things we do. also wanted to meet other second life bloggers, and hopefully make some new friends aswell.

This is Molly my lil chimp, isn't she cute?, I really didn't need another pet, I have lots, but my friend Brett was looking for a pet for his girlfriend, and invited me along. I saw the chimps, and just had to get one. she can do lots of tricks, and I can make her any size I like, and carry her with me anywhere I go. She has cute outfits to, and acessories.

This is my home, I move alot and have had a lot of different homes on sl, but this is one of my favourites, Its peaceful and quiet, I love relaxing by the pool with friends, or dancing. I love having my own land and a place to call home.

Back then I was a noob, I dont look very noobish because I met some great friends who helped me out, and showed me where to get clothes and stuff, but boy did I act like a noob, took me forever to work out how to wear clothes. I was walking around with boxes on my head for a while. Second life was quite over whelming for me, when I first joined, I dont mind admitting I felt a bit lost, and wasn't sure I belonged there, but I started using the video guides and using search to teleport to places I thought looked interesting, and I met some great people, who I have alot in common with, they showed me new places, and now here I am just a year later

I no longer wear boxes on my head, or look noobish, I have my own land,My own lil beach paradise, four dogs and a parrot,and a dolphin. I love animals in rl and sl, great friends and loads of places to hang out, and tons of lovely clothes and acessories I love to shop, I love my second life!
